FudgeBuilds Sustainability 

FudgeBuilds is committed to keeping kink sustainable by producing items in the most sustainable way possible. This extends across our operations:

• Energy: We purchase our energy from suppliers that use renewable energy sources. To minimise our energy consumption from the main grid, we have an on-grid solar system on top of the machine workshop (6KW of solar panels with a 12KWh battery).

• Facilities: Our office and workshops are well insulated to reduce heat loss and noise pollution.  The leather workshop and office are powered 90% of the year from an off-grid solar system (total storage capacity = 20KWh).

• Transport: We drive an electric vehicle to markets and when delivering to addresses (where possible). We try to collect most of our supplies to reduce the impact on the environment.

• Materials: Our wooden items are made from traditional and exotic woods that are all sourced from FSC-certified suppliers. Our leathers are almost always from UK suppliers ( we only import when a material is unique and not available from our UK suppliers). Offcuts are reclaimed to make new products where possible. Our metal all comes from a local supplier.

FudgeBuilds will continue to improve on our commitment to sustainability. This means reducing waste and maximising efficiency across the production process while still delivering top-quality, cost-effective products.
